Manuela Dimuccio Gonzalez
PAST - TEATRO LAB
Manuela Dimuccio Gonzalez, she defines herself "valdostana, marchigiana and pugliese." After high school, she spent most of her life abroad (studying and working). She believes in the importance of building strong and positive relationships in any part of the world she is. A culture-lover, Manuela co-initiated ACT1 (Art Creative Theater), the Theater Lab of Italians in DC. The idea is to promote the Italian culture and the beauty of its language through art. She received a MSc. In International Management from the University of Bologna in partnership with the ICN Business School, in France. Before moving to Washington, D.C. in 2015, she worked for major international organizations like the United Nations and she currently works at the World Bank Group where she is co-chair of the Youth-to-Youth (Y2Y) Steering Committee, working on a broad range of issues and initiatives that contribute to the WBG's goal of "achieving a world free of poverty" while engaging and inspiring youth around the globe. Manuela adores languages and exposing herself to new cultures. She speaks fluently French, English and Spanish and she is now learning Portuguese as her fifth language. Her motto: live and learn! If you are wondering about her surname… well, she is married to a Mexican-American dude!
